Description
This set of images from “Katsura no maki” by Katsuno Hakuen (1915) represents styles of the Hosokawa school. Artwork includes rocky inlets with the moon reflecting off the surface of rock waterfalls, beaches with curling waves in the moonlight, serene moonlight beach scenes, thrashing waves, mountainous views, and more. Eleven original drawings depict bonseki scenes for your visual inspiration that have been scanned and digitally retouched to remove artifacts from the digitization process and the batch contains multiple artist and stylistic representations.
